The Canoeists

Four eighteen year old Canadian boys run into trouble during a school canoe trip in Algonquin Park. They steal two red canoes and vanish into the woods. The story is their odyssey through Canada, the US and Mexico, as they follow the waterways through the Mississippi watershed and paddle their way into adulthood.
